Aviation industry leaders convene for technical and regional summits

The aviation industry is hosting key technical and leadership gatherings focused on regional growth and operational challenges. In Gran Canaria, Binter Technic and aircraft manufacturer ATR organized the ‘Hot Weather Customer Day’. The event brought together technical personnel from seven ATR-operating airlines to discuss maintenance and operational best practices for high-temperature environments, specifically focusing on aircraft air conditioning and climate control systems.

In Mexico City, the Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA) will host its 22nd Annual General Assembly and the Airline Leaders Forum from October 18 to 20. Hosted by Aeroméxico, the summit will include over 350 delegates and 40 airline CEOs. Discussions will center on regional air transport recovery, infrastructure, sustainability, technological modernization, and regulatory frameworks. The agenda also covers aviation financing, fleet management, and the application of artificial intelligence within the industry.
