Avolta to expand airport dining across three Hawaii locations

Avolta has partnered with the State of Hawaii Department of Transportation to expand food and beverage offerings at three major airports: Daniel K. Inouye International, Lihue, and Kahului.

Through its division HMSHost, Avolta will develop and operate new dining and café concepts designed to reflect Hawaii’s culinary identity. The program will utilize regional ingredients and feature collaborations with local producers, distillers, brewers, and renowned chefs, including Alan Wong.

Steve Johnson, Avolta North America President and CEO, stated the dining options aim to showcase native cuisine and creativity. Hawaii Department of Transportation Director Ed Sniffen noted the initiative seeks to provide travelers with flavors inspired by the state’s multi-cultural heritage and island lifestyle.
