Awaji Island introduces new seasonal beef dining plans

New seasonal dining options featuring Awaji beef are being introduced at various locations on Awaji Island, Japan.

Iwaya Onsen Eshima Betsuninte Umi to Mori, a private hot spring accommodation, will launch an autumn and winter sukiyaki plan starting October 1, 2026. The menu features rare Awaji Kunugiza beef paired with local Kitazaka eggs and seasonal vegetables, served in-room alongside chef-selected sushi.

Additionally, the restaurant Mikeya at the Awaji Highway Oasis will introduce a seasonal Awaji beef rice and meat tofu set starting October 3, 2026. This menu item is designed to highlight the flavor of local beef through two different preparation styles.
