AYANEO unveils Konkr Pocket Advance handheld homage to Game Boy Advance
AYANEO has released detailed renders of its new Konkr Pocket Advance, a handheld designed to closely resemble Nintendo's 2001 Game Boy Advance. The device is part of the company's affordable Konkr line, which already includes the Pocket FIT and Pocket Block. The render shows a wide, horizontal‑grip body, a widescreen display, four front face buttons, and an orange‑and‑white color scheme reminiscent of the Japan‑exclusive GBA edition. Additional visible features include a USB‑C charging port, a microSD card slot, a volume wheel, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
No technical specifications have been announced yet; the chipset, screen size, resolution, battery capacity, price and launch date remain unknown. While the design suggests the handheld could emulate games beyond the original GBA, perhaps up to PlayStation 1 or GameCube titles, AYANEO has said more information will be provided in the future.
