ÇAYKUR announces start date for third fresh tea harvest

ÇAYKUR (Tea Enterprises General Directorate) has announced the conclusion of its second harvest period for fresh tea purchases. The second round of purchases, which began on July 8, was extended to accommodate regions where tea matures later, ensuring producers could deliver products effectively.

The institution expressed gratitude to producers who managed the harvest process carefully, noting that avoiding a rushed process helped prevent loss of product value and facilitated better procurement planning.

Fresh tea purchases for the third harvest period are scheduled to begin on September 1, 2026. ÇAYKUR has advised producers to closely monitor official notifications and announcements throughout the upcoming period to ensure a smooth transition and successful harvest season.
