Çayırova municipality hosts second lavender harvest festival

The Çayırova Municipality organized the second edition of its lavender harvest festival in the Şekerpınar neighbourhood. Mayor Bünyamin Çiftçi attended, noting the event’s aim to bring children and young people closer to agriculture and to create a greener, more livable district.

Hundreds of local residents gathered to pick lavender, take photos among the purple fields, and enjoy the communal atmosphere. The festival highlights Çayırova’s efforts to promote outdoor social spaces and community engagement through seasonal agricultural activities.
