Azealia Banks relocates to Tel Aviv

American rapper Azealia Banks has announced her relocation to Tel Aviv, stating that Israel’s mature arts scene has provided her with a renewed sense of creative freedom. Banks shared the news on social media, including a photograph of her new residence, and noted that the environment has made it easier to work on her upcoming album.

Banks highlighted that the local creative community allows for professional collaboration without the interference of political disagreements, a contrast to her previous experiences in the entertainment industry. She is currently working with producer Yinon Yahel on new material and is scheduled to perform at the Tel Aviv Amphitheater.

The move represents a significant shift in Banks’ relationship with Israel. While she previously criticized the country’s social culture and expressed political opposition to its actions, she has recently identified as a Zionist and praised the local music and arts infrastructure.
