Azealia Banks relocation to Israel

Overview

American rapper Azealia Banks has established a presence in Israel, initially traveling to the country to collaborate with local producer Yinon Yahel on new music. During this period, she scheduled a performance at the Tel Aviv Amphitheater for October 8.

Banks has undergone a political shift, identifying as a Zionist and criticizing the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement, which she labeled “totally antisemitic.” Following her arrival, she announced a formal relocation to Tel Aviv. She cited the local arts scene as a source of “renewed creative freedom” and noted that the environment allows for professional collaboration without the political interference she experienced elsewhere in the entertainment industry.
