Azerbaijan and UAE sign strategic cooperation agreements

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the National Security Advisor of the United Arab Emirates, on September 14. During the meeting, officials discussed the successful development of strategic partnership relations and the expansion of bilateral cooperation across various sectors.

The visit resulted in the signing of several key agreements aimed at strengthening economic and technological ties between the two nations. These include:

- A cooperation agreement between Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar) and Azerbaijan Green Energy LLC for renewable energy projects. - A strategic cooperation agreement between the Azerbaijan Investment Holding and L’IMAD Holding Company PJSC. - An agreement between AzerGold and Terra Mining Ltd regarding the joint assessment and exploration of mineral resources in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. - A partnership between the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan and Group 42 Holding Ltd to develop data centers, high-performance computing, and artificial intelligence infrastructure in Azerbaijan.
