Azerbaijan sees 6.8% rise in non‑oil budget revenues; currency rates unchanged July 2026
Azerbaijan's Finance Ministry reported that non‑oil and gas sector revenues reached 10.981 billion manats ($6.46 billion) in the January‑June 2026 period, a 6.8% increase over the same span in 2025 and 3.1% above forecasts. These revenues accounted for 57.3% of total state budget receipts, with tax collections representing the largest share at 7.065 billion manats. Finance Minister Sahil Babayev said the figures reflect reforms that are boosting the non‑oil sector and reducing dependence on oil income, noting that non‑oil revenues now comprise 55.2% of the consolidated budget.
The Central Bank of Azerbaijan published the official exchange rates for 27 July 2026, leaving the U.S. dollar at 1.7000 manat, the euro at 1.9385 manat, and the Turkish lira at 0.0359 manat, among other rates for regional currencies. No changes were made to the dollar‑manat parity.
