Azores PS group accuses government of failing TVDE evaluation

The PS/Açores parliamentary group has accused the Regional Government of the Azores of failing to comply with legislation regarding the evaluation of the TVDE (ride-hailing) legal regime. According to the group, the law requires a reasoned report with recommendations for regulatory adjustments to be produced three years after the regime's implementation.

Deputy Marlene Damião noted that since the activity began in the Azores in 2022, the three-year deadline has passed, and the government has yet to present the required report. The PS group stated that concrete data is essential to assess the needs of each island and propose improvements for the sector.
