Azul launches new flights between Belo Horizonte and Aracati
Azul has inaugurated a new flight route connecting Confins International Airport in Minas Gerais to the Dragão do Mar Regional Airport in Aracati, Ceará. The service aims to strengthen tourism along the Ceará East Coast, specifically benefiting destinations such as Canoa Quebrada and the Rota das Falésias.
The operation will feature two weekly frequencies, scheduled for Thursdays and Sundays. On Thursdays, the flight follows a Belo Horizonte–Aracati–Fortaleza–Belo Horizonte itinerary, while on Sundays, the route operates as Belo Horizonte–Fortaleza–Aracati–Belo Horizonte. The stop in Fortaleza involves a brief technical landing of approximately 40 to 45 minutes without an aircraft change. This return of regular service to Aracati follows a previous period of operations that had been suspended in July 2024.
