Azul Linhas Aéreas launches cargo route between Brazil and Peru

Azul Linhas Aéreas has entered the Peruvian market, establishing a new weekly cargo flight route connecting Manaus, Brazil, with Lima. The Peruvian Ministry of Transport and Communications, through the Directorate General of Civil Aeronautics, granted the Brazilian airline international flight permits to conduct non-regular commercial cargo services on this route.

Talma, a leading airport services provider in Peru and Latin America, has been awarded the operation for Azul Linhas Aéreas at Jorge Chávez International Airport. Talma will provide comprehensive ramp and cargo services, including the management of perishables, high-value goods, and temperature-controlled shipments.

The new service will utilize Airbus A321-231 aircraft, which have a payload capacity of up to 27 tons. This expansion aims to optimize international logistics chains and boost commercial exchange between Brazil and Peru, linking Brazilian Amazonian industrial centers with regional markets.
