Azul to launch new flights between Belo Horizonte and Parnaíba

Azul has announced a new flight route connecting Belo Horizonte (Confins) to Parnaíba, on the coast of Piauí, starting November 18. The service will operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays using Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, which have a capacity of 136 passengers.

On Wednesdays, flights will depart Belo Horizonte at 12:55 and arrive directly in Parnaíba at 15:45. The return flight will include a stop in Teresina, departing Parnaíba at 16:30 and arriving at Confins at 20:40. On Saturdays, the outbound flight from Confins will depart at 9:30 and stop in Teresina before arriving in Parnaíba at 13:40. The return leg on Saturdays will be a direct flight, departing Parnaíba at 14:20 and arriving at Confins at 17:10.

This expansion aims to strengthen the role of the Confins hub and increase connectivity to the Piauí coastline, supporting tourism for areas such as the Parnaíba Delta and the 'Rota das Emoções' circuit. Beatriz Barbi, Azul's Senior Manager of Network Planning, Alliances, and Distribution, stated that the connection expands options for travelers to the Piauí coast and reinforces the company's commitment to regional aviation development.
