Baba Ramdev condemns parliamentary protest over Ram Temple donations

Yoga guru Baba Ramdev said that insulting Bhagwa, sants, Lord Ram or any part of Sanatan heritage is a “highly objectionable” and “heinous” offence. His remarks came after Independent MP Pappu Yadav staged a symbolic protest in the Indian Parliament, dressing in saffron and performing a street‑play that depicted the alleged theft of donations meant for the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Several opposition MPs, including Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi, took part in the demonstration, which was intended to highlight concerns over the use of temple funds.

Ramdev told IANS that protests must remain peaceful, democratic and free of abusive language, warning that any movement that turns anarchic fails to achieve meaningful outcomes. He urged society to foster constructive thinking among youth and called on both government and citizens to uphold cultural values while addressing grievances through constitutional means.
