Bac Ninh aims to integrate local culture into tourism products

The Bac Ninh City People's Committee has issued directives to develop cultural tasks and organize activities in response to Vietnam Culture Day 2026. The initiative focuses on transforming local cultural values into distinctive tourism products to support sustainable development.

Local authorities are tasked with reviewing the progress of various cultural resolutions to ensure completed tasks and address delays. The strategy emphasizes linking cultural preservation with the development of tourism and cultural industries. Rather than focusing solely on temporary performances or exhibitions, the goal is to highlight local identity and create economic opportunities through the exploitation of existing cultural values.

The Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism will lead the implementation, which includes organizing folk games, traditional music performances, and heritage teaching. Efforts will also include promoting cultural activities via digital platforms and updating the Vietnam Cultural Digital Map.
