Bac Ninh officials inspect martyr remains sampling process

Bac Ninh Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Hong Thai and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Xuan Loi conducted inspections of the sampling process for martyr remains at several cemeteries, including Dong Lo and Bac Ly.

The inspection focused on the excavation, biological sampling, management, and preservation of remains from unidentified graves. These procedures are critical for DNA testing to gradually identify martyrs whose information remains unknown.

In Hiep Hoa commune, sampling is being conducted for 19 unidentified graves across four cemeteries. In Xuan Cam commune, the plan aims to complete sampling for 38 unidentified graves at the Chau Minh, Bac Ly, and Mai Dinh cemeteries. The province is also emphasizing the use of science, technology, and digital transformation to digitize data and facilitate the comparison and identification process.
