Bac Ninh Police issue traffic compliance and license plate notices

The Bac Ninh Provincial Police have issued notices regarding traffic compliance and vehicle registration requirements. Under Circular 79/2024/TT-BCA, effective January 1, 2025, vehicle owners must proactively replace license plates that are faded, damaged, bent, or otherwise illegible to ensure proper identification and avoid administrative penalties.

Additionally, traffic surveillance cameras in Bac Ninh recorded 1,053 violations over a 12-day period from August 15 to August 27. The most frequent offense was failure to wear a helmet, accounting for 597 cases. Other recorded violations included 236 instances of lane marking infractions, 113 illegal stops or parking incidents, 84 red-light violations, and 23 illegal turns or U-turns.
