Bac Ninh prepares for major September events and city establishment

Bac Ninh province is preparing for a series of major events in September 2026, including the official announcement of the establishment of Bac Ninh city and an associated arts program scheduled for September 19 at 3/2 Square. Additionally, the Northern Region Industry and Trade Fair 2026 will take place from September 16 to 22 at the Bac Ninh Cultural and Tourism Promotion Center.

To accommodate the expected influx of delegates, businesses, and tourists, the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has called for local authorities and service providers to upgrade facilities. Key focus areas include improving accommodation quality, dining services, and sightseeing activities, while ensuring strict adherence to security, traffic safety, fire prevention, and food hygiene standards.

Authorities are also emphasizing price transparency. Service providers, including hotels and restaurants, are required to publicly list and charge regulated prices. Measures will be taken against price gouging, commercial fraud, or substandard services to protect consumer rights and maintain the province's tourism reputation.
