Bac Ninh Province Approves Two Major Social‑Housing Projects Worth Over VND 4 trillion
The Bac Ninh provincial People's Council has approved investment plans for two large social‑housing complexes, with a combined budget of about VND 4.059 trillion. The first project on lot A2‑OXH3 in the new Tây Bắc urban area (Vũ Ninh and Kinh Bắc wards) covers 1.98 ha, costs over VND 1.276 trillion and will deliver a 17‑storey building with 640 apartments and 126 commercial units, providing homes for roughly 2,000 low‑income residents. The second project on lot A4‑NOXH1 in the expanded Phố Mới area (Bồng Lai ward) spans 5.13 ha, costs more than VND 2.783 trillion and will consist of two 17‑storey towers with about 1,932 apartments and 30 low‑rise commercial units, serving around 4,000 people. Both projects are slated for a 48‑month construction period. They implement the Prime Minister’s target of building at least one million social‑housing units for low‑income families and industrial workers between 2021‑2030, and support the province’s 2026‑2030 plan to increase the share of rental and social housing.
