The Traffic Police Department of Bac Ninh province published a list of 541 vehicles that exceeded speed limits between 6 July and 12 July 2026. The violations were captured by an automated camera system on several routes, notably National Highway 1A through Kep commune and Highway 17 through Yen The commune, involving both cars and motorcycles.

Authorities are urging owners whose plates appear on the list to settle the “cold‑fine” penalties prescribed by Decree 168/2024 ND‑CP without delay, to avoid prolonged processing or impact on vehicle transactions. Fines range from 800,000 VND to over 12 million VND for cars, with accompanying driver‑license point deductions, and from 400,000 VND to 600,000 VND for motorcycles, depending on the speed excess.

The automated monitoring approach is highlighted as a key tool for improving traffic management and ensuring continuous, accurate detection of violations, supplementing traditional patrols.
