Social housing developments expand in Bac Ninh and Hanoi

Vietnam is seeing significant developments in social and student housing across several provinces. In Hanoi, the Department of Construction reported over 5,800 vacant rental spaces in student housing areas, including My Dinh II and Phap Van - Tu Hiep, as well as two vacant apartments in the CT19A Viet Hung social housing complex.

In Bac Ninh, major residential projects are advancing to meet the needs of industrial workers. The Cat Tuong Smart City and Thong Nhat Smart City complexes, representing a 3,000 billion VND investment, are entering final stages with over 2,000 apartments expected to be handed over by December. Additionally, HMS Urban Investment and Development Joint Stock Company has broken ground on the Soul Center Van Trung project. This 800 billion VND social housing development will provide 3,228 apartments across four 18-story buildings, with completion expected in the second quarter of 2028.
