Baccalaureate 2026 results announced in Ziguinchor and Côte d'Ivoire

In the Ziguinchor academy, the first group of candidates for the technical Baccalauréat (session 2026) saw 26 of the 71 test‑takers admitted, a pass rate of 36.62 %. Boys performed better than girls, with a 57.89 % success rate versus 28.85 % for girls. A total of 30 students are now eligible for oral exams, most of them female. The CSCL centre reported 12 admissions out of 30 candidates (40 %); LTAEB had 14 admissions from 41 candidates (34.15 %).

Meanwhile, Côte d'Ivoire will publish the results for series C (exact sciences) and D (experimental sciences) of the 2026 Baccalauréat on 6 July. The Ministry of National Education will display the outcomes at 14:00 after final jury deliberations, with results accessible via official online portals. The process involved extensive correction work across 41 regional directorates, aiming to ensure transparency and fairness for thousands of candidates.

Both announcements mark key milestones for students in the respective regions, determining their eligibility for university admission or further technical training.
