Bach Mai Hospital expands medical cooperation and receives U.S. equipment

Bach Mai Hospital in Hanoi has entered into new partnerships to enhance medical services and community health. C.P. Vietnam signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on long-term social and medical activities. This partnership focuses on occupational health for workers, community health screenings, vaccinations, and nutritional programs. It also includes initiatives for voluntary blood donation and organ donation awareness.

Additionally, the United States government has donated advanced laboratory equipment to Bach Mai Hospital. The donation, facilitated through the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), includes a gene sequencing system. This support continues a nearly two-decade partnership between the U.S. mission in Vietnam and the hospital, which has previously focused on HIV/AIDS treatment, infection control, and antibiotic resistance monitoring.
