Bacolod MassKara Festival 2026 to feature 5G activities and digital payment promos

Major digital service providers are integrating technology and financial services into the 2026 MassKara Festival in Bacolod.

Globe is hosting a month-long series of 5G-powered activities, including the 5G HyperMove running challenge, mural art projects using Gemini AI, and the 5G EnergyTok TikTok dance challenge. Musical events such as the G Music Fest will feature local student bands and headliners like December Avenue. Additionally, Globe is conducting digital literacy programs and providing 5G-enabled devices to Bacolod City National High School.

GCash is facilitating festival convenience through exclusive merchant deals and digital payment options from October 16 to 18. The platform will host activities and the ‘MassKara Crawl’ across Lacson Street and the Public Plaza to encourage visitors to explore local businesses using digital transactions.
