Bad Kissingen launches 2026 Stadtradeln cycling campaign

The Landkreis Bad Kissingen kicks off its 2026 Stadtradeln campaign on Sunday, 14 June, running until 4 July. Residents are encouraged to replace car trips with bicycle rides—whether commuting, school, shopping or leisure—and log each kilometre to demonstrate support for climate protection, sustainable mobility and personal health. Participation is open to anyone and can be registered through the Stadtradeln website or mobile app, where users can join existing teams or create their own.

The launch features the Drahteseltour in Geroda, with activities such as a smoothie‑bike powered by pedalling, a Fairtrade stall, and a police‑run bike‑coding initiative to deter theft. Evening rides organized by DJK Kothen are scheduled for 16 June and 23 June, adding social riding opportunities throughout the three‑week period.
