Bafra tradespeople support blood donation campaign

The Bafra Metal Artisans Chamber and the Bafra branch of the Turkish Red Crescent organized a blood donation campaign at the Kızılırmak Industrial Site in Bafra, Samsun. The event saw high participation from local tradespeople and citizens visiting the site for vehicle maintenance.

Hurşit Tulum, President of the Bafra Metal Artisans Chamber, emphasized the importance of regular donation, noting that being proactive helps ensure blood availability for community members and relatives in the future. He also announced plans to hold a similar campaign at the Yukarı Industrial Site soon.

Şerafettin Şahin, Head of the Turkish Red Crescent Bafra Branch, highlighted that blood donations typically decrease during the summer months, making such collaborations with civil society organizations vital. He noted that the turnout exceeded expectations, adding, "One blood donation saves three lives."
