Bahía Blanca advances major water, drainage and health projects in General Daniel Cerri

The municipality of Bahía Blanca announced that three key infrastructure projects in General Daniel Cerri are nearing completion. The aqueduct replacement, aimed at supplying safe water to more than 9,000 residents, is over 85% finished and involves installing 5 km of high‑density polyethylene pipes at a cost of AR$2.879 billion.

A storm‑water drainage system on San Martín Street, funded with AR$458 million, will alleviate historic flooding in a defined block and is slated for completion in five months. In parallel, the Antonio Menghini Health Center is being remodeled and expanded to improve local medical services. Mayor Federico Susbielles highlighted these works as long‑delayed structural improvements that will enhance water security, hydraulic safety and health care for the community.
