The semifinals of the Brasileirão Feminino A1 have been set, featuring a matchup between Bahia and Corinthians. Bahia made history as the first club from the Northeast to reach the semifinals after defeating Palmeiras in a penalty shootout following two 1-1 draws.

Corinthians secured their spot by eliminating Cruzeiro with a 4-1 aggregate score. The first leg of the semifinal between Bahia and Corinthians is scheduled for September 15 at Arena Fonte Nova, with the return leg taking place on September 21 at Neo Química Arena.

Following the release of the match schedule by the CBF, Corinthians player Vic Albuquerque expressed frustration on social media, describing the scheduling decision as ‘péssima’ (terrible).
