Bahia Farm Show launches permanent agribusiness studio, showcases family farming
During the 20th edition of the Bahia Farm Show, the Associação de Agricultores e Irrigantes da Bahia (Aiba) unveiled a fully equipped audiovisual studio called "Vozes do Agro." The studio, built inside the fairgrounds, operates from 9 am to 7 pm and produces programs that feature interviews, debates, technical content and cultural segments aimed at creating a permanent communication channel for the state's agribusiness sector. A team of 14 journalists, presenters, photographers and editors supports the production, and the material is posted on Aiba’s official YouTube channel.
The same edition also highlighted the presence of the Bahia Family Agriculture sector, with about 200 family‑farm enterprises displaying their products. Participants reported more than R$150 000 in direct sales and numerous new commercial contacts. State agencies such as the Companhia de Desenvolvimento e Ação Regional (CAR) and the Secretariat of Rural Development supported the initiative, emphasizing the fair’s role in promoting income generation, market access and the visibility of small‑scale producers across the region.
