Bahia Farm Show records historic attendance and confirms 2027 edition

The 20th edition of the Bahia Farm Show was held from 8 to 13 June 2026 in Luis Eduardo Magalhães, Bahia. The agricultural fair attracted a record 172,328 visitors, a 6 % increase over the previous year, and hosted 554 exhibitors representing 1,421 brands, with 24 sponsors.

Organisers highlighted several new initiatives, including a dedicated startup zone, the first official livestock auction that sold more than 1,500 animals, and the launch of a R$ 14 billion financing line for farm machinery together with announced investments in the state’s electricity sector. The event also expanded its focus on family farming, increasing related exhibitors from 28 to 34.

President Moisés Schmidt used the closing press conference to announce that the next Bahia Farm Show will take place from 7 to 12 June 2027. The fair drew political and business leaders, among them senator and presidential pre‑candidate Flávio Bolsonaro.
