Bahia police ban Bamor and Os Imbatíveis supporter groups

The Bahia Military Police (PM-BA) have banned two organized supporter groups, Bamor (associated with Esporte Clube Bahia) and Torcida Uniformizada Os Imbatíveis (associated with Esporte Clube Vitória), from attending sporting events for six months. The sanction, effective from Thursday, follows violent incidents during the Ba-Vi derby on August 23, which resulted in two deaths and several arrests.

During this period, members of these groups are prohibited from attending state, regional, national, or international sporting events while carrying any identifying items. This includes banners, posters, flags, clothing, or other elements that identify them as organized supporters, as well as the use of musical instruments.

The decision was formalized at the headquarters of the Specialized Event Policing Battalion (BEPE) and is supported by the General Sports Law and Conduct Adjustment Agreements (TAC) signed with the Public Ministry of Bahia. While the groups are restricted, the measure does not prevent individual fans from attending matches or interfere with the scheduling of games.
