Bait Mal Al-Quds Agency presents Jerusalem aid report in Baghdad

The Bait Mal Al-Quds Agency, the executive arm of the Jerusalem Committee chaired by King Mohammed VI of Morocco, presented a comprehensive report on its humanitarian activities in Jerusalem during the 52nd session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers in Baghdad.

The report details the agency’s achievements from June 2025 to September 2026, highlighting interventions in social welfare, education, health, economic empowerment, and agriculture. Notable recent initiatives include Ramadan aid programs, such as the distribution of 5,000 food parcels and 20,000 daily Iftar meals, as well as the ‘Warm Winter’ initiative for Bedouin families.

Acting Director Mohammed Salem Al-Sharqawi held several high-level meetings on the sidelines of the OIC summit to discuss strengthening support for Jerusalem and its Palestinian residents. These discussions included meetings with Palestinian Foreign Minister Varsen Aghabikian Shahin, Jordanian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Nancy Namroqa, and OIC Secretary-General Ismaila Ould Cheikh Ahmed. The agency is currently developing a strategic vision for 2027–2030, focusing on administrative governance, digitalization, and diversifying funding sources, with an estimated annual safety budget of $7 million.
