Baja California announces scholarship dates for JOBEC and Rita Cetina programs

The government of Baja California has announced the schedule for two major educational support programs: the Jóvenes Becados (JOBEC) program and the federal Rita Cetina Scholarship.

Results for the JOBEC program, which targets high school and university students, will be released on October 26 via the official social media channels of the Juventud BC institute. Financial support includes 2,000 pesos for high school students and 2,500 pesos for university students. Distribution dates are set for October 29 in Tijuana, October 30 in Ensenada, and November 4 in Mexicali, with simultaneous sessions in San Felipe, Playas de Rosarito, Tecate, and San Quintín on November 10.

Registration for the Rita Cetina Scholarship, a Mexican federal government initiative for public primary and secondary school students, will run from October 26 to November 6. The program offers 1,900 pesos bimonthly per family for secondary students, plus an additional 700 pesos for each extra student at that level. Primary school students are eligible for 2,500 pesos annually for school supplies and uniforms. Registration must be completed online using a Llave MX account.
