Mexico has announced registration timelines for various welfare scholarship programs for the 2026-2027 school year.

In early September, the government detailed the Beca Rita Cetina scholarship for students in public primary and secondary education. Registration for this program is scheduled to occur online from October 2 to October 15, 2026, requiring applicants to use a Llave MX digital identity account.

Other welfare programs have slightly different schedules. Registration for the Beca Benito Juárez (high school), Jóvenes Escribiendo el Futuro (higher education), and the Beca de Transporte Gertrudis Bocanegra is set for September 21 to September 30, 2026. For the Beca Benito Juárez, schools will conduct informative assemblies throughout late September. In Michoacán, officials noted that the first deposits for eligible university students under the Jóvenes Escribiendo el Futuro program are expected in December, following the validation of academic information.
