Baja California Sur hosts cultural festivals and theater in October

Baja California Sur will host several cultural events throughout October, including the fourth edition of the La Toba International Film Festival from October 6 to 10 in Ciudad Insurgentes, Comondú. The festival will feature short films from IMCINE and the Cineteca Nacional, alongside local and international productions. Programming includes workshops, academic activities, book presentations, and mobile cinema screenings designed for families and students.

Additionally, the Teatro Juárez in La Paz has announced its October schedule, offering a diverse lineup of theater, music, dance, and folklore. Highlights include the State Theater Showcase, the Song Festival, and various musical performances such as Comal Blues and Paulo Piña. The venue also hosts educational and community-focused events, including Mexican Sign Language ceremonies and regional chronicler meetings.
