Baja California Sur to host 2026 National Popular Games 6x6 football state stage

The Baja California Sur Sports Institute (INSUDE) has announced the state stage of the 2026 National Popular Games 6x6 football tournament. The event will feature both male and female categories, with teams representing the five municipalities of Baja California Sur: Mulegé, Loreto, Comondú, La Paz, and Los Cabos.

Scheduled for September 11, 12, and 13 at the ‘El Piojillo’ Sports Center, the competition will include the 2012-2014 and 2010-2011 age categories. Winners will qualify to represent the state at the national stage in Veracruz. Local sports officials recently met to finalize regulations and logistics ahead of a plenary meeting for coaches and delegates on September 10.
