Bajaj Auto expands motorcycle lineup with new models
Bajaj Auto is expanding its motorcycle offerings across different markets with new technical updates and model releases. In India, the company has launched the Pulsar N250SS, priced at Rs 1.59 lakh. This premium variant of the N250 lineup features an updated 249cc single-cylinder engine producing 25hp and 22Nm of torque, a new 6-speed gearbox, and a standard quickshifter. Technological upgrades include a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster with Google Maps mirroring, an electronic throttle body for different riding modes, and a USB Type-C charging port.
In the European market, specifically targeting the A2 license segment, Bajaj is promoting its 400cc models: the Dominar 400 and the Pulsar NS 400 Z. While both motorcycles share a common mechanical base consisting of a 373cc single-cylinder engine producing 40 CV and a shared chassis, they are designed with distinct riding profiles. The updated engine now utilizes a single spark plug compared to the three used in previous versions.
