Bajaj launches redesigned Pulsar 125 motorcycle

Bajaj has launched the 2026 Pulsar 125, marking a significant redesign for the 125cc segment of its iconic Pulsar brand. The new model features a complete overhaul of the chassis, moving from a double-downtube frame to a diamond tubular frame that is 20 per cent lighter and 60 per cent stiffer.

The motorcycle utilizes its 124.58cc air-cooled engine as a stressed member, contributing to an overall weight reduction of approximately 8 kg. The engine itself is 7 kg lighter than the previous generation and features a square configuration with a 54-mm bore and 54.4-mm stroke. These changes aim to improve the power-to-weight ratio and tractability, allowing the bike to cruise effectively at lower speeds.

Visually, the Pulsar 125 retains its muscular silhouette and sporty stance, though it introduces design updates such as a new headlight assembly and a pentagon-shaped exhaust. While the design aims to balance evolution with the brand's established identity, the technical improvements focus on refinement, reduced vibration, and better gear ratios.
