Baku hosts 7th Meeting of Organization of Turkic States Muslim leaders

The 7th Meeting of Muslim Religious Leaders of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) has commenced in Baku, Azerbaijan. Organized by the Caucasus Muslims Office, the event features approximately 200 religious figures representing nearly 40 countries and 18 international organizations.

During the summit, participants issued a formal address to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, expressing gratitude for the high-level organization of the meeting. The delegates highlighted the importance of Azerbaijan’s model of multiculturalism and tolerance in a global climate marked by xenophobia, Islamophobia, and separatism.

The gathering also includes the First International Scientific-Practical Conference dedicated to the prominent Azerbaijani scholar and thinker, Sheikh Sayyid Yahya Bakuvi. The event aims to promote humanist ideas and inter-civilizational cooperation to serve global stability.
