Bali immigration office deports Lithuanian national for illegal work

The Ngurah Rai Immigration Office in Bali has deported a Lithuanian national, identified by the initials BR, for engaging in illegal work. BR, who was born in Israel, was found to be operating as a business owner and paid content creator for the social media account @the.bali.dream, managing digital marketing for the platform.

Investigations revealed that BR entered Indonesia on May 7, 2026, using a business visit visa but exceeded the permitted activities. Following the deportation via Ngurah Rai International Airport, BR has been issued a five-year ban from re-entering Indonesia, effective from August 13, 2026. This sanction is subject to potential extension.
