Balkans stock markets rally as Sarajevo and Zagreb exchanges post gains

On the Sarajevo Stock Exchange, daily turnover reached 6,481 KM across five transactions involving 64 securities. The most active issue was ASA Bank d.d., with a volume of 5,035 KM, though its price slipped 0.28% from the previous session. Other traded stocks included Bosnalijek d.d. (486 KM) and Pretis d.d. Vogošća (960 KM). The main indices edged marginally lower, with SASX‑10 down 0.4% to 1,540.78 points and SASX‑30 down 0.01% to 3,021.39 points.

In Croatia, the Zagreb Stock Exchange saw the Crobex and Crobex10 indices climb for a tenth straight week, setting fresh record levels. Crobex rose 1.51% to 4,371 points and Crobex10 rose 0.94% to 2,824 points. Trading volume totaled about €12 million, roughly half of the prior week. The most heavily traded security was Končar, with €3.47 million exchanged and a 0.97% price increase to €1,044. Other notable moves included a 72.73% surge in Jadran shares after investor offers, gains in Adrisa, Zagreb Bank, Valamar Riviera, and sectoral advances in nutrition, while the industry sector fell.
