Ballando con le Stelle prepares for 21st season launch

The 21st edition of the Italian dance competition ‘Ballando con le Stelle’ is set to premiere on October 3, hosted by Milly Carlucci. The production is moving to Saxa Rubra and features thirteen celebrity couples competing under a new set of regulations.

The judging panel includes returning members Guillermo Mariotto and Carolyn Smith, alongside newcomer Alberto Matano. While Ivan Zazzaroni is expected to return, the final seats on the panel remain unconfirmed by Rai 1, specifically regarding the position previously associated with Selvaggia Lucarelli.

In related news, professional dancer Luca Favilla, who has been part of the cast since 2018, confirmed via Instagram that he will not be returning for this season. Favilla clarified that his absence was not due to personal or family reasons, despite public speculation, but was a decision made by the production.
