Multiple drowning incidents reported in Brazil

Multiple drowning incidents involving young people have been reported in Brazil.

In Balneário Camboriú, Santa Catarina, the body of 22-year-old José Kaique Martins de Azevedo was recovered from the waters of Praia Central. The young man, originally from Acre, had disappeared on Tuesday after leaving his workplace to get coffee at the beach. His body was found four days later following extensive searches involving drones, dogs, and boats.

In Jataí, Goiás, divers from the Military Firefighters Corps located the body of a 19-year-old man in the Rio Claro. The individual had disappeared after slipping on rocks and submerging in the river. His body was found at a depth of 6.5 meters, approximately 50 meters from the site of the initial accident.

Additionally, in Balneário Piçarras, Santa Catarina, a 10-year-old boy disappeared in the sea after being struck by a wave. Search operations were initiated by the Military Firefighters Corps, though the child had not been located by the time searches were suspended due to nightfall.
