Balochistan: BLA claims 25 Pakistani soldiers killed in two attacks

The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for two separate attacks in Pakistan's Balochistan province, alleging that 25 military personnel were killed.

The first incident occurred near Ziarat Cross, where the BLA claims its Fateh Squad ambushed a military convoy. According to the group, the attack destroyed two vehicles, including a military truck, and resulted in the deaths of 18 soldiers. The BLA also stated that fighters seized weapons from the convoy and that five injured personnel managed to escape.

A second operation was reported in the Hajika area of Surab. The BLA's Special Tactical Operations Squad (STOS) claimed to have used a remotely detonated explosives-laden vehicle to destroy a military vehicle, killing seven personnel.

The BLA released a 71-second video trailer through its official media outlet, Hakkal, which purportedly shows armed fighters near burning military vehicles and seized equipment. Pakistani authorities have not yet confirmed the reported death toll.
