Balochistan attack targets security convoy, killing over 23

A major attack targeted a Pakistani security forces convoy in the Lasbela district of Balochistan. The incident occurred on the N-25 national highway in the Kashari area, where a convoy consisting of approximately 15 Frontier Force vehicles was traveling.

Initial reports indicate that more than 23 personnel may have been killed in the explosion, with several others injured. Following the blast, one of the security vehicles caught fire. The injured were transported to the Bela camp for treatment.

The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) is suspected of carrying out the attack. The organization has recently increased its operations against security forces, government buildings, and transport routes in the region.

Security forces have launched search operations in the area, and the N-25 highway, a strategic route connecting Karachi to Quetta, has been closed to traffic. Official confirmation regarding the exact number of casualties is still pending.
