Balochistan Liberation Army vows intensified campaign against Pakistan

The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) has announced plans for an intensified campaign against Pakistani security forces, seeking independence for the Balochistan region. This escalation follows recent airstrikes by the Pakistan Air Force in the Sorab area.

There are conflicting reports regarding the casualties from the airstrikes. The BLA claims at least 27 civilians were killed, while Pakistani authorities state that 10 people died. The BLA has responded with a series of attacks on state targets and has accused security forces of enforced disappearances and fake encounters.

The BLA is expected to target military infrastructure, railway tracks, and commercial vehicles.
