Bamberg to launch free energy consulting campaign

The city of Bamberg will host the ‘Bamberger Energiekarawane’ from October 6 to December 8, 2026, providing free energy consulting to residents in the Kramersfeld and Gartenstadt districts. Funded by the Klima- und Energieagentur Bamberg (KEA), the campaign focuses on energetic building renovation.

According to KEA Managing Director Tobias Schenk, previous evaluations showed that over one-third of advised individuals implemented renovation measures, particularly the installation of heat pumps and photovoltaic systems. The program includes individual house visits by certified energy consultants to provide tailored advice on energy transitions for property owners.

A kickoff event is scheduled for October 6, 2026, at the Kunigundensaal to allow citizens to meet consultants and learn more about the campaign.
