Energy renovation consulting in Bamberg

Overview

The city of Bamberg is launching the ‘Bamberger Energiekarawane’, a free energy consulting campaign running from October 6 to December 8, 2026. Funded by the Klima- und Energieagentur Bamberg (KEA), the initiative targets residents in the Kramersfeld and Gartenstadt districts to promote energetic building renovations.

According to KEA Managing Director Tobias Schenk, previous evaluations indicated that over one-third of advised individuals implemented renovation measures, with a focus on installing heat pumps and photovoltaic systems. The program features individual house visits by certified energy consultants to provide tailored advice. A kickoff event will be held at the Kunigundensaal to introduce citizens to the consultants and the campaign.
