Bambu Lab A1 Mini 3D printer sees price discounts
The Bambu Lab A1 Mini, a compact FDM 3D printer designed for beginners, is seeing significant market activity. In Japan, the device is currently available on Amazon at a discounted price of 29,990 yen, representing a reduction of approximately 9,900 yen from its recent price.
The A1 Mini features a build volume of 180 x 180 x 180 mm and a printing speed of up to 500 mm/s. It includes automatic calibration and active flow rate compensation. While it primarily supports single-color filament, multi-color printing is possible through the optional Automatic Material System (AMS) lite.
Technical reviews note that while the printer offers high print quality and arrives largely pre-assembled, some users may encounter issues with the spool holder causing filament to loosen. Additionally, the integrated camera has been noted for producing large AVI files, and the touchscreen interface can be somewhat unresponsive.
